Annual plants are technically plants which are grown outdoors, germinate, bloom and die once a year. Some of these are the wax begonia, the snapdragons, petunias, pelargonium, impatiens, coleus, tomato, bell peppers and sweet potatoes. People grow perennials as annuals more for convenience.
