By Ted Segura DOUBT is a number one problem that will shake a relationship. How can you say you love someone if you doubt him? How can you be assured of your partner's love if he in turn doubts you? Love is Truth. If you love someone, you must be true and open to that person from the start. However,
it's sad to know many people are afraid to be open - for fear of being rejected. This has created problems when the partner finds out that the other wasn't honest. It is always important to be truthful to your partner to remove doubts. It is important to communicate constantly with one another to build trust. And if mistakes have been made, it is also equally important to say it and believe in the love of the other. Inconvenienced being marriage troubles like hiding mistakes will not solve the problem but even create one. WORRIES is another element that can shake a relationship. If you're worried all the time, this will affect your partner and the atmosphere between you and the family. The purpose in marriage is to have a peaceful and harmonious relationship. Therefore, the opposite of worry is peace. It is important to discuss what you are worried about with your spouse because he or she might be able to help, comfort or solve whatever is bothering you. Don't put the burden on you by trying to solve all the problems by yourself. FEAR of making mistakes and failures in marriage can also shake the relationship. We have heard spouses who are afraid to share their mistakes because they may get rejected or even to the point of getting punished. Why is that so? Perhaps from the start, they were not able to build a strong relationship of openness with one another. Where there is love between two spouses, there should be no fear. However due to human nature, even if fear may arise, love can go beyond inconvenienced being marriage troubles in order to maintain the relationship with the assurance of forgiveness from the love of the other. One important way to help to overcome doubts, worries and fears is prayer. With prayer, one's faith and love will be strengthened. Then keep yourself busy with good activities. Continue to love the person next to you, perhaps your spouse or your children or a neighbor. This way, you will forget about yourself. Read good and positive books to remove negative thoughts and be surrounded by happy and positive friends who share happy thoughts. Doubts, worries and fear truly shake a relationship. They may not disappear overnight but what is important is to make that decision to overcome these inconvenienced being marriage troubles that can damage your relationship because definitely you would want to have a happy and peaceful marriage. Prepare For Natural, Healthy, Beautiful Skin With Mineral Makeup
By Marilyn Etzel Mineral Makeup is a beautiful way to naturally brush over your skin's imperfections. It can even out skin tone and give your skin a healthy glow. The minerals are all natural and ingredients such as zinc oxide are healthy for your skin. Mineral cosmetic foundations, like all other foundation makeup, must be applied to properly prepared skin in order for your skin to look it's best. Prepare your skin well and your complexion will look great all day. In order for your mineral makeup to buff smoothly into your skin and give you a smooth and natural look, you need to prepare it properly. You should look for a gentle cleanser, a toner to regulate the ph of the skin and diminish the look of pores, and a hydrating moisturizer or primer. A good sunscreen is a must as well. Mineral make-up already contains titanium dioxide and some formulations also contain zinc oxide, which are both excellent sunscreens. Skin also needs to be exfoliated to keep the pores clear and unclogged, but harsh exfoliates should be avoided. Milder, oatmeal-based facial scrubs can help unplug the oily pores, and are much kinder to sensitive skin. Make sure your primer or moisturizer is completely dry before applying your foundation. Instead of covering spots or acne with a liquid oil concealer that can further clog your pores, dab on an anti-acne formula and use a mineral powder concealer to hide acne and to absorb excess oil. Mineral concealer is ideal for acne and rosacea sufferers as it provides complete coverage of blemishes at the same time helping to heal and calm inflammations with the high levels of zinc oxide. Without these basic cleansing actions, skin tone becomes dull and uneven and cannot protect itself against the environmental stress it incounters everyday. If you prepare your skin properly first, your mineral makeup will glide on and give you flawless coverage while protecting your skin. Medicinal Herbs Curative Agents Used in Traditional Medicine for Ages
By Groshan Fabiola Herbal medicine, also known under the names of phytotherapy and herbalism, is a well-defined branch of the ancient alternative medicinal system that involves the use of plants and plant extracts to cure diseases and alleviate symptoms. The great healing powers of many medicinal herbs and herbal supplements can never be contested for thousands of years plants have been successfully used to fight against a wide spectrum of diseases and disorders, and many of these ancient natural cures are still being used today, sometimes in combination with modern medical treatments. According to recent archeological findings, herbal medicine dates back ever since man had first walked on this earth, more than 60,000 years ago. For ages, man has continued to perfect the ways of herbal medicine and has been permanently looking for new medicinal herbs with strong curative effects. The ancient character of herbal medicine is also revealed in the Bible, which suggests the strong relation between man and nature, as well as mans timely preoccupation with herbalism: Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine Ezekiel 47:12. Another Scriptural view on herbal medicine can be found in Ecclesiasticus, chapter 38: Honor the healer for his services, for the Lord created him. His skill comes from the Most High, and he is rewarded by kings. The healers knowledge gives him high standing and wins him the admiration of the great. The Lord has created medicines from the earth, and a sensible man will not disparage them Anthropologists speculate that over the ages, early tribal communities had acquired a good level of knowledge on herbal supplements and medicinal herbs through simple processes of trial and error. This accumulated knowledge was passed from one generation to the other and has been gradually expanded and polished, carrying the print of many distinctive cultural influences: Western, based on Greek and Roman medicinal wisdom, the Ayurvedic from India and Oriental, particularly Chinese influences. Unfortunately, many secrets of the ancient herbal medicine had been lost, and nowadays herbalists are constantly aiming to recover reminiscences of our ancestors medicinal wisdom. At present, herbalists, botanists, pharmacologists and microbiologists from many corners of the world have joined forces in an attempt to discover lost medicinal herbs and herbal supplements, as well as new specimens of plants which could be developed for treatment of various diseases in the near future. In recent years, herbal supplements and medicinal herbs have been extensively used for treating diseases in non-industrialized societies of the world, but also in well developed urban societies. Many people have realized the great efficiency of herbal supplements and medicinal herbs and have decided to use them as substitutes for synthetic drugs or as enhancements for modern medication treatments. Used wisely and with care, the right herbal supplements and medicinal herbs can successfully protect against diseases and help in curing already existent health problems. Nature has supplied us with so many natural ingredients with great curative effects, and it would be foolishness not to take full advantage of its offerings. We should make efforts to discover natures mysteries and use its provided ingredients to create efficient, safe cures and remedies. Enjoy The Special Birthdays In Your Life
By Evert DuToit While birthdays always come once every year (unless, of course, youre a leap year baby), there are certain coming-of-age milestones that make this time of year all the more special. Whether it is surviving your first year out of the womb or breaking the double-digits in age as you turn 10, birthdays hold special memories. They create the various highlights, achievements and freedoms throughout life that correspond to how old you are at the time. Teenage Years Throughout the world, different cultures embrace specific birthdays as the transition into adulthood, filled with special celebrations and reflection. Below are a few to take note of: Turning 12 or 13: In the Jewish culture, bar mitzvahs (boys) and bat mitzvahs (girls) signify their entrance into maturity. For boys, the celebration takes place on or around their 13th birthday, while girls experience this moment on or around their 12th birthday. Turning 14: Today, several Asian countries regard the 14th birthday as the transition into adulthood and society for both male and females. Turning 15: When girls in the Latin American culture turn 15 years of age, a quinceanera is held, which celebrates this milestone. Turning 16 For years, Sweet Sixteen birthday parties have been held to commemorate a break from adolescence. Traditionally, this sort of merriment focused on girls, but today, the celebration has become quite popular for boys as well. This is also the time in ones life where first cars are bought and driven after obtaining a learners permit. 18th Birthday You might be a couple steps closer to adulthood when turning 16, but 18 years old is when you really start to rack up more freedoms in life. This age says you are now responsible enough to play a role in society and the government. Many high school students graduate at the age of 18, where they can go on to enlist for military service or legally purchase a pack of cigarettes. They can try their hand at winning the million-dollar lottery or drive across the country with their drivers license. At this age, they can also decide who is fit enough to govern their world. 21st Birthday While it is highly likely that the first drink came before the 21st birthday, it is now legal to purchase and consume alcohol. This momentous birthday is met with a round of partying that often begins at midnight. This is when many truly feel they have become an adult. Turning 30 For some, the 30th birthday is often met with a certain sadness and melancholy as they kiss what they believe to be their "youthful" years goodbye. After the 30th birthday passes, often this feeling is replaced with a renewed sense that there are many, many good years ahead. Turning 50 Inching their way towards retirement, between mid-40s and the 50th birthday, many experience mid-life crises, vital turning points and achievements that cause loads of reflective moments. Turning 65 Often, this birthday signifies the many years of retirement you have to look forward to. This is the time to try things youve never done before, visit countries youve only read about and spoil your grandkids rotten with love and attention. Turning 80+ While disease runs rampant around the world, turning 80 and beyond is a great achievement. It is so extraordinary that United States citizens can receive a special birthday greeting from the White House when turning 80 or older. Of course, a family member must arrange this honor through contacting the White Houses Greetings Office in writing, but it is still a tribute any birthday boy or girl would get a kick out of. Turning 100+ In the United Kingdom, Canada and other countries, turning 100, 105 or older grants you a message from the Queen on your birthday. Perennials Are Great Additions to Any Garden
By Peter Finch Ever wondered why your plants flowered so beautifully for some time and now all you have left are leaves? The reason is simple. There are some plants that are seasonal and there are others that are not. Plants which are long lasting are called perennials. In this case it refers to plants that live for two years or more. Typically, perennial plants will flower once or more than once in a growing year but it depends on the variety that has been planted. The blooming period can be as short as week or as long as a month. This can be stretched if the wilted flowers are pruned regularly. June is considered a good month for planting your perennials. Ensure that you are not going to transplant these for some years. Mulching is very necessary after planting as it helps promote growth, keep the moisture in, and prevents the fast growth of weeds. If your perennials have grown over the year then June is the right month to trim the height to promote growth and flowering. These plants have some specific characteristics that classify them as perennial. There are herbaceous perennial plants that have no woody tissue and then there are those that have a wood base from which the flowers and leaves sprout. Among perennials we have the monocarpic perennial that blooms once and dies. Then there is the polycarpic variety which flowers many times in its life span. The climate influences the growth of such plants. If you are in a place where the climate is generally warm, your plants will grow and flower almost continuously. If you stay in a place where the seasons are clearly demarcated by change in temperature then even your plants will behave the same way. Deciduous perennials are those whose leaves die back in the winter months and they flower in the warmer times of the year. These are found in temperate regions and some of the commonly known plants are mint and goldenrod. In places where the seasons are categorized as rainy and dry, these plants retain their foliage for the entire period and are classified as evergreens. Begonia and banana are two popular examples of this variety. There are a lot of plants that people grow because they last well and look good for a large part of the year. Annual plants are technically plants which are grown outdoors, germinate, bloom and die once a year. Some of these are the wax begonia, the snapdragons, petunias, pelargonium, impatiens, coleus, tomato, bell peppers and sweet potatoes. People grow perennials as annuals more for convenience. The Nepata or Walkers Low are gorgeous blue violet flowers with beautiful grey green foliage and this variety has been given the Perennial Plant of the Year 2007 award by the Perennial Plant Association. One of the most attractive features of this plant is that it is low maintenance, simple to grow and fairly immune to plant health problems. Job Search Victim Or Professional?
By Paul Megan We had an uncomfortable job search strategy session with Keely a few weeks ago. She sounded desperate. She had met some unexpected resistance in interviews . . . two in a row. Turns out prospective employers were questioning her about how her background could possibly fit into their organization. She clutched. She stumbled. She came away from the interview feeling totally defeated. Of course, this colored her enthusiasm for continuing her job search. Keelys story is not unique. It happens to all of us in one way or another--especially when were looking for a job. The question is: how you respond to it? Are you going to be a victim or a professional? 1. Youre a victim if you start putting yourself down. Youre a professional if you acknowledge that theres something you need to learn so this doesnt happen again. 2. Youre a victim if you blame the employer for failing to see how good you are. Youre a professional if you take the time to understand what an employers needs are. 3. Youre a victim if you throw in the towel because youre discouraged. Youre a professional if you pick up the pieces and move forward to the next encounter. 4. Youre a victim if you let your friends make excuses for you. Youre a professional if you ask your friends to practice with you so you can do better the next time. 5. Youre a victim if you get angry and just give up. Youre a professional if you understand why you would be angry. And then get over it ands move on toward your goal. Finding a job is never easy. There are plenty of bumps in the road that can discourage you. On the other hand, there are wonderful strategies and techniques that can get you past the bumps and turn you into a job search professional. When you determine to take the professional approach no matter how many obstacles come your way, youve dramatically moved the odds in your favor. And you WILL get a great job offer!
